This year's Pfizer Research Prize Award ceremony took place on 26 January 2023 in Zurich and via livestream.

  • Prof. David Nadal honored the awarded research of Dr. Lukas Villiger, Dr. Tanja Rothgangl and Dr. Desirée Böck in the field of Pediatrics in the basic research category.
  • Prof. David Nadal honored the awarded research of Dr. Amanda Gisler (woman with the microphone) and team in the field of Pediatrics in the clinical research category.
  • This year it was decided to award another group in Pediatrics, also in the clinical research category. Prof. David Nadal congratulates PD Dr. Julia Bielicki and Dr. Gillian Levine (in the middle) for their work.
  • PD Dr. Dr. Philipp Krisai, awardee in the field of Cardiovascular Medicine, Urology and Nephrology and Dr. Troxler Saxer, MD, President of the Foundation Pfizer Research Prize and Medical Director Pfizer Switzerland.
  • Dr. Jeanne du Fay de Lavallaz and Dr. Alexandra Prepoudis received the Pfizer Research Prize for their work in clinical research in the field of Cardiovascular Medicine, Urology and Nephrology. The laudation was held by Prof. Jürg Steiger in a video message.

  • Prof. Huldrych Günthard honored the research work of Dr. Jonas Lötscher and team in basic research in the field of Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology, and Immunology.
  • Prof. Huldrych Günthard honored the research work of Magdalena Schwarzmüller, Dr. Dr. Irene A. Abela and Dr. Chloé Pasin who received the Pfizer Research Prize in the field of Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology, and Immunology in the clinical research category.
  • Prof Olaf Blanke congratulates Dr. Mattia Aime who received the Pfizer Research Prize for his work in basic research in the field of Neuroscience and Neurology.
  • Dr. Florian Ingelfinger and team received the Pfizer Research Prize for their work in clinical research in the field of Neuroscience and Neurology.
  • Prof. Freddy Radtke honored the research work of Prof. Arianna Calcinotto, Dr. Elena Zagato and Dr. Nicolò Pernigoni who received the Pfizer Research Prize in basic research in the field of Oncology.
